    Remove idler sprocket.

    Remove lower timing chain.

    Remove oil pump drive spacer.
  4. 40
    Remove chain guide.
  5. 41
    Remove crankshaft sprocket.

Inspection

Check for cracks and excessive wear at roller links. Replace if necessary.

Installation

  1. 1
    Confirm that No. 1 piston is set at T.D.C. on its compression stroke.
    Diagram showing No. 1 cylinder at T.D.C. with the crankshaft key position marked for installation.
