Oil Seal Replacement - Front Oil Seal / Rear Oil Seal

Front Oil Seal (Cont'd)

    Apply engine oil to new oil seal and install it using a suitable tool.
    Front cover area with a suitable tool installing a new front oil seal over the crankshaft. Two star symbols mark contact points. Label 'Suitable tool'.

Rear Oil Seal

    Remove transaxle. (Refer to MT section.)

    Remove flywheel.

    Remove rear oil seal. Be careful not to scratch rear oil seal retainer.
    Be careful not to scratch rear oil seal retainer.

    Apply engine oil to new oil seal and install it using a suitable tool.
