    Measure connecting rod side clearance.
    If beyond the limit, replace connecting rod and/or crankshaft.
    Measuring connecting rod side clearance with a feeler gauge between the connecting rod big end and the crankshaft, with the crankshaft and connecting rod caps installed on the block.

    Install oil pan.
Connecting rod side clearance - Standard(0.0039 - 0.0146 in)
0.1 - 0.37mm
Connecting rod side clearance - Limit(0.0197 in)
0.50mm
