Cylinder Head - Removal

When installing sliding parts such as rocker arms, camshaft and oil seal, be sure to apply new engine oil on their sliding surfaces.
When tightening cylinder head bolts and rocker shaft bolts, apply new engine oil to thread portions and seat surfaces of bolts.
Removal
- 1Set No. 1 cylinder at T.D.C. on its compression stroke and remove timing belt.After removing timing belt, do not rotate crankshaft and camshaft separately, because valves will hit piston heads.
SEM320B - 2Drain engine coolant from radiator and cylinder block.
SMA371C - 3Remove camshaft sprocket and front cover.
