Removal

  1. 1
    Disconnect battery ⊖ cable, fuel cut solenoid valve connector and accelerator wire.

    Set No. 1 piston at T.D.C. on its compression stroke.
    T.D.C.: White painted mark
  3. 3
    Disconnect water hoses for cold start device.
  4. 4
    Remove fuel hoses (supply, return and spill) and injection tubes.
  5. 5
    Remove air duct and injection pump timing belt cover.

    Remove injection pump timing belt and sprocket.

    Remove injection pump assembly.
