INSPECTION START

CHECK OVERALL FUNCTION. 1) Start engine and warm it up sufficiently. 2) Check idle speed. 925 +25/-75 rpm. 3) Perform IGN TIMING ADJ in WORK SUPPORT mode. - Disconnect throttle sensor sub-harness connector. 4) Make sure that idle speed drops.

CHECK POWER SUPPLY. 1) Stop engine. 2) Disconnect engine room harness connector and engine harness connector. 3) Check voltage between terminal (a) and ground. Voltage: Battery voltage.

Check the following. - Harness connectors (M11), (E104) - 10A fuse - Harness continuity between engine room harness connector and fuse. If N.G., repair harness or connectors.
Check the following. - Harness connectors (M11), (E104) - 10A fuse - Harness continuity between engine room harness connector and fuse. If N.G., repair harness or connectors.

CHECK OUTPUT SIGNAL CIRCUIT. 1) Disconnect E.C.U. harness connector, E.F.I. harness connector and engine harness connector. 2) Check harness continuity between E.C.U. terminal 113 and terminal (i). Continuity should exist.

CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY BETWEEN A.A.C. VALVE AND ENGINE HARNESS CONNECTORS. 1) Check harness continuity between terminal (o) and terminal (b), terminal (p) and terminal (l). Continuity should exist.
