CHECK IDLE ADJ. SCREW INITIAL SET RPM. 1. Select "IGN TIMING ADJ" in "WORK SUPPORT" mode. 2. When touching "START", does engine rpm fall to 800 ± 50 rpm (in "N" position)? - OR - When disconnecting throttle sensor harness connector, does engine rpm fall to 800 ± 50 rpm (in "N" position)?
No
Adjust engine rpm by turning idle adjusting screw.
Yes

CHECK THROTTLE SENSOR IDLE POSITION. 1. Perform "THROTTLE SEN. ADJ" in "WORK SUPPORT" mode. 2. Check that output voltage of throttle sensor is 0.45 to 0.55V. (Throttle valve fully closes.) and "IDLE POSITION" stays "ON". - OR - Measure output voltage of throttle sensor using voltmeter, and check that it is 0.45 to 0.55V. (Throttle valve fully closed.)
N.G.
1. Adjust output voltage by rotating throttle sensor body. 2. Disconnect throttle sensor harness connector for a few seconds and then reconnect it. 3. Confirm that "IDLE POSITION" stays "ON".
