Turn off engine and connect exhaust gas sensor harness connector. Also reconnect idle compensator vacuum hose to vacuum connector.
Disconnect idle compensator vacuum hose from vacuum connector on intake manifold and install suitable blind cap to vacuum connector. Check idle CO % (at test-take off) IDLE "CO" % 0.5 - 2.0 %

7
Disconnect "CO"-meter probe and install cap on test-take off rube.
8
Start engine.
9
Race engine (2,000 to 3,000 rpm) 2 or 3 times under no-load, and run engine at idle speed.
