Diagnostic Procedure 35 (Cont'd) - PROCEDURE B (Cont'd)
EF & EC-334flowchartUnverifiedContinuation of PROCEDURE B (radiator fan high-speed circuit). Output-signal harness-connector checks differ between L.H.D. models (F34/M3a, M11/E106) and R.H.D. models (M202/E54). Connector id 'M3a' partially legible.

A (continued from EF & EC-333)
2
[O] CHECK OUTPUT SIGNAL CIRCUIT. 1) Disconnect thermoswitch harness connector. 2) Check harness continuity between terminal (a) and terminal (2), terminal (1) and body ground. Continuity should exist.
N.G.
Check the following. - Harness connectors (F34), (M3a) (L.H.D. models) - Harness connectors (M11), (E106) (L.H.D. models) - Harness connectors (M202), (E54) (R.H.D. models) - Harness continuity between thermoswitch and radiator fan relay-2 - Harness continuity between thermoswitch and body ground If N.G., repair harness or connectors.
Check the following. - Harness connectors (F34), (M3a) (L.H.D. models) - Harness connectors (M11), (E106) (L.H.D. models) - Harness connectors (M202), (E54) (R.H.D. models) - Harness continuity between thermoswitch and radiator fan relay-2 - Harness continuity between thermoswitch and body ground If N.G., repair harness or connectors.

3
CHECK COMPONENT (Radiator fan relay-2). Refer to "Electrical Components Inspection". (See page EF & EC-351.)
N.G.
Replace radiator fan relay.
O.K.
4
CHECK COMPONENTS (Radiator fan motors). Refer to "Electrical Components Inspection". (See page EF & EC-351.)
N.G.
Replace radiator fan motors.
O.K.
Check E.C.U. pin terminals for damage or the connection of E.C.U. harness connector.
