Start engine and warm it up until water temperature indicator points to normal operating temperature.

Open engine hood.

Run engine at idle speed for 2 minutes.

Disconnect distributor vacuum hose on carburetor connector side and install blind cap to connector.

Race engine (2,000 - 3,000 rpm) 2 or 3 times under no-load, and then run engine at idle speed.

Check idle speed. Idle speed: Below 1,000 rpm
