INSPECTION START

A CHECK POWER SUPPLY. 1) Turn ignition switch "ON". 2) Check voltage between E.C.U. terminals 49, 47 and ground. Voltage: Battery voltage

B CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT. 1) Turn ignition switch "OFF". 2) Disconnect E.C.U. harness connector. 3) Check harness continuity between E.C.U. terminals 6, 13, 107, 108, 116 and engine ground. Continuity should exist. If N.G., repair harness or connectors.
B CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT. 1) Turn ignition switch "OFF". 2) Disconnect E.C.U. harness connector. 3) Check harness continuity between E.C.U. terminals 6, 13, 107, 108, 116 and engine ground. Continuity should exist. If N.G., repair harness or connectors.

C CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY BETWEEN E.C.C.S. RELAY AND E.C.U. 1) Turn ignition switch "OFF". 2) Disconnect E.C.U. harness connector. 3) Disconnect E.C.C.S. relay. 4) Check harness continuity between E.C.U. terminals 38, 47 and terminal 5. Continuity should exist.

D CHECK VOLTAGE BETWEEN E.C.C.S. RELAY AND GROUND. 1) Check voltage between terminals 1, 3 and ground. Voltage: Battery voltage

Check the following. • Harness connectors F34, M36 (L.H.D. models) • Harness connectors M11, E104 (L.H.D. models) • Harness connectors F10, E15 (R.H.D. models) • "25A" fusible link • Harness continuity between E.C.C.S. relay and battery. If N.G., repair harness or connectors.
