CHECK FUEL PRESSURE. 1. Release fuel pressure to zero. (Refer to page EF & EC-638.) 2. Install fuel pressure gauge and check fuel pressure. At idle: Approx. 245 kPa (2.45 bar, 2.5 kg/cm2, 36 psi). A few seconds after ignition switch is turned from OFF to ON: Approx. 294 kPa (2.94 bar, 3.0 kg/cm2, 43 psi).

CHECK FOR INTAKE AIR LEAK. When pinching blow-by hose (lowering the blow-by air supply), does the engine speed rise?
Yes
Discover air leak location and repair.
No

CHECK WASTEGATE VALVE CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE. 1. Check "W/G CONT S/V" in "DATA MONITOR" mode. At idle: OFF. During acceleration: ON. — OR — 1. Disconnect wastegate valve control solenoid valve harness connector. 2. Supply wastegate valve control solenoid valve terminals with battery current and check operating sound.
