- 3Make sure bimetal cover index mark is aligned with center of choke housing index mark.
SMA855A - 4Check wiring connection, and start engine.
- 5After warming up engine, ensure that choke valve is fully open. If not, check automatic choke circuit and heater.
ENTIRE SYSTEM
CAUTION
Do not attach test leads of a circuit tester to those other than designated.
Entire System Check
- 1Start engine.
- 2Check voltage between terminal 1 and ground, with engine running. If no voltage appears, check the following items: Automatic choke relay; Automatic choke circuit; Fuse.Voltage: Approximately 9 - 12V

AUTOMATIC CHOKE RELAY
