AIR INDUCTION CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE AND E.G.R. & CANISTER CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE
- 1Check it for electric continuity. Continuity should exist.
SEF416K - 2Check the solenoid valve for normal operation. Supply it with battery voltage, and check whether there is continuity between ports Ⓐ, Ⓑ and Ⓒ as shown below.

If N.G., replace air induction control solenoid valve.
THROTTLE VALVE SWITCH
- 1Disconnect throttle valve switch connector.
- 2Check continuity between terminals Ⓒ and Ⓑ.

If N.G., replace throttle valve switch.
IDLE-UP CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE
- 1Disconnect solenoid harness connector.
- 2Connect solenoid harness connector to battery.
SEF419K - 3Check "click" sound is heard from solenoid when battery is connected and disconnected. If N.G., replace idle-up solenoid.
FUEL CUT SOLENOID VALVE
- 1Disconnect solenoid harness connector.
- 2Connect solenoid harness connector to battery.
SEF420K - 3Check "click" sound is heard from solenoid when battery is connected and disconnected. If N.G., replace fuel cut solenoid.
