Wastegate valve control solenoid, wastegate valve actuator, and recirculation valve are turbo (SR20DET) components.

TROUBLE DIAGNOSES

Check air passage continuity.

12V direct current supply between terminals ⓐ and ⓑ	Yes
No supply	No

12V direct current supply between terminals ⓐ and ⓑ

Air passage continuity between ⓐ and ⓑYes

No supply

Air passage continuity between ⓐ and ⓑNo

If N.G., replace solenoid valve.

Apply compressed air to wastegate valve actuator and check it for smooth movement.

CAUTION

Do not applying compressed air to the actuator continuously.

The air pressure should be in the range of 59 to 69 kPa (0.59 to 0.69 bar, 0.6 to 0.7 kg/cm², 9 to 10 psi).

Check air passage continuity.

Condition	Air passage continuity between ⓐ and ⓑ
A vacuum of above −17.3 kPa (−173 mbar, −130 mmHg, −5.12 inHg) is applied to vacuum port	Yes
No vacuum applied	No

A vacuum of above −17.3 kPa (−173 mbar, −130 mmHg, −5.12 inHg) is applied to vacuum port

Air passage continuity between ⓐ and ⓑYes

No vacuum applied

Air passage continuity between ⓐ and ⓑNo

If N.G., replace recirculation valve.

CAUTION

Do not disassemble and adjust recirculation valve.
