CRANK ANGLE SENSOR*
DIAGNOSTIC ITEM IS DETECTED WHEN ...• Either 1° or 180° signal is not entered for the first few seconds during engine cranking. • Either 1° or 180° signal is not input often enough while the engine speed is higher than the specified rpm.
CHECK ITEM (REMEDY)• Harness and connector (If harness and connector are normal, replace crank angle sensor.)
AIR FLOW METER
DIAGNOSTIC ITEM IS DETECTED WHEN ...• The air flow meter circuit is open or shorted. (An abnormally high or low voltage is entered.)
CHECK ITEM (REMEDY)• Harness and connector (If harness and connector are normal, replace air flow meter.)
ENGINE TEMP SENSOR
DIAGNOSTIC ITEM IS DETECTED WHEN ...• The engine temperature sensor circuit is open or shorted. (An abnormally high or low output voltage is entered.)
CHECK ITEM (REMEDY)• Harness and connector • Engine temperature sensor
VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR
DIAGNOSTIC ITEM IS DETECTED WHEN ...• The vehicle speed sensor circuit is open or shorted.
CHECK ITEM (REMEDY)• Harness and connector • Vehicle speed sensor
IGN SIGNAL-PRIMARY*
DIAGNOSTIC ITEM IS DETECTED WHEN ...• The ignition signal in primary circuit is not entered during engine cranking or running.
CHECK ITEM (REMEDY)• Harness and connector • Power transistor unit
THROTTLE SENSOR
DIAGNOSTIC ITEM IS DETECTED WHEN ...The throttle sensor circuit is open or shorted. (An abnormally high or low voltage is entered.)
CHECK ITEM (REMEDY)• Harness and connector • Throttle sensor
NOTE
*: Check items causing a malfunction of crank angle sensor circuit first, if both "CRANK ANGLE SENSOR" and "IGN SIGNAL-PRIMARY" come out at the same time.
