RETIGHTENING MANIFOLD, CARBURETOR AND EXHAUST TUBE BOLTS AND NUTS
Retighten to prevent air and/or exhaust gas leakage.

Adjusting Intake and Exhaust Valve Clearance
IMPORTANT
Adjustment must be made after engine has been warmed up sufficiently.

- 1Set No. 1 cylinder at top dead center on its compression stroke, and adjust valve clearance (1), (2), (3) and (6).
SMA016A - 2Set No. 4 cylinder at top dead center on its compression stroke, and adjust valve clearance (4), (5), (7) and (8).
