Special precautions apply to full-time 4WD vehicles during on-the-car wheel balancing (all four wheels off ground, rotate with engine and balancer engaged, parking brake released, no brake drag).

    Jack up vehicle so that all four wheels can rotate. Make sure the vehicle is firmly supported on stands.

    Release parking brake fully.
